Live intentionally. Act meaningfully. Reflect occasionally.
A compass, not a scoreboard.
Compasso helps you notice what you think is worth pursuing, and whether the way you spend your days points that way. Your goals, habits and values are connected in one place, and you can change them whenever you want.
Works on this device straight away. Free. No account needed to start.
Six ideas, connected — not a ladder
Flourishing, purpose, values, goals, habits and everyday intention all affect each other. Progress here means your days lining up a bit better with what matters to you. It doesn’t mean doing more.
Flourishing
What a good, full life looks like for you — not a universal definition of success.
Purpose
What gives your days direction. It can be vague, and it can change.
Values
The principles that matter, in your own words, including the ones that pull against each other.
Goals
Outcomes worth pursuing, and why. Revise them, pause them, or let them go without calling it failure.
Habits
Recurring things that support what matters, with a regular check on whether they still do.
Intention
One small thing a day, if you like. Small kept intentions are how a sense of agency grows.
How it works
- Start with a conversation. Six open questions: what makes life meaningful, when you feel most fulfilled, who you would like to become. Skip any of them. “I don’t know yet” is a real answer.
- See the connections. Your Personal Compass shows which values your goals and habits actually serve, and which values nothing serves yet. You decide what to do with that.
- Consult it now and then. A light check-in, one question from the companion, a weekly review if you want one. Then close it and get back to your life.
What’s inside
The Personal Compass
Values, goals and habits on one page, connected. It answers “am I moving in a direction that feels meaningful to me?” without scoring you.
Goals that can change
Every goal has a “why”. Pause it, complete it, or let it go. Letting go is counted as progress, because sometimes realising a goal no longer fits is exactly that.
Habits without streaks
Four weeks of days, a note on when a habit tends to happen, and a regular question: does this still matter to you?
Exploration Mode
For when you don’t know what you want. Goals become experiments: try something, notice what you enjoy, and let the compass catch up.
A guided reflection companion
One open question at a time, drawn from virtue ethics, existentialism, self-determination theory and behavioural psychology, and picked by simple rules over what you have written. It is not AI, and it never tells you how to live.
Reviews and a journey
Optional weekly, monthly, seasonal and yearly reviews. Every earlier answer is kept, so you can see how your idea of a good life has changed.
What Compasso leaves out
- No streaks to protect, no points, no levels and no leaderboards.
- No feed of other people and no public profile.
- No notifications. One optional email on Sunday evenings, which you can stop from any of them.
- Inactivity is never treated as failure. A missed day is just a day.

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works on this device without one, and nothing you write leaves it. If you create an account later, what is on the device moves into it — you are told exactly what before it happens — and syncs to your other devices.
Is the companion an AI?
No. It asks one question at a time from a curated set, picked by simple rules: a tension between two values you named, a habit you were unsure about, a goal without a “why” yet. It doesn’t read or interpret what you write, and nothing is sent to a model provider.
What if I don’t know what I want?
That is a perfectly good place to start. Answer “I don’t know yet”, switch on Exploration Mode, and treat the next few weeks as experiments. Many people only find out what matters by trying things.
Who can read what I write?
Only you. Without an account it stays in your browser. With one, it is stored in your account so it opens on your devices; there is no public profile, and the operators’ admin page shows counts, never content. You can download or delete everything from the app.
Is this therapy?
No. Compasso is a reflection tool. If you are struggling, talking to someone you trust or a professional is a better first step than any app.
